(Vegetable salad)
" A delicious salad that is filled with tomatoes, onions and crushed wheat. It is seasoned in the traditional way, with fresh mint and lemon juice." Ingredients: Parsley Crushed wheat (burghul). Tomatoes. Green mint. Salt. Pepper. Green onions. Olive oil. Lemon juice. - 4 cups of cut parsley (clean and dried well). - 1 cup of cut tomatoes (small cubes). - 1/2 cup cut onions (rubbed with salt and spices) - 1/2 cup cut green mint (if not available, then use 1/2 teaspoon of dried mint). - 2 table spoons of crushed wheat (burghul). - Salt, pepper and a bit of allspice (according to taste). - 5 table spoons of lemon juice. - 5 table spoons of olive oil.
- Mix all the above together, preferably right before serving.
