From our tragedy, I have learned:
* That Bereavement is an integral part of the love of the lost one.
* That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
* Forgiveness offers you peace, happiness, a quite mind, safety, protection, comfort and a perfect rest.
* That love, not time, heals all wounds.
* That good decisions come when head, heart and soul align.
* When someone has a tragedy at home he has the choice of getting BITTER or BETTER.
I have chosen to be BETTER.
"I asked God to spare me pain.
God said:
No, suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me." |
When our son died, each minute of the day I used to ask myself “WHY?”
But I could find no answer.
Then I turned to God and asked him:
“Since there is no answer to my WHY, please show me "HOW" to say goodbye?”
God listened to me, And He showed me "HOW?"
HE showed me HIS way! |
"When you know God, there is no more sorrow.
All those you loved and lost in death are with you again in Eternal life."
(Paramahansa Yogananda)
|
"To be alone with the love of God is the only way to find life again." |
NO GOD -------> NO LOVE -------> NO PEACE |
KNOW GOD ----------> KNOW LOVE -----------> KNOW PEACE |
I would rather live thinking that there is a GOD and die finding out that there is no GOD
than
live thinking that there is no GOD and die finding out that there is ONE.

"M y D a i l y P r a y e r"
Teach me, my Lord, to be sweet and gentle in all the events of life
in disappointments,
in the thoughtlessness of others,
in the insincerity of those I trusted
in the unfaithfulness of those on whom
I relied.
Let me put myself aside,
to think of the happiness of others,
to hide my little pains and heartaches,
so that I may be the only one to suffer from them.
Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path.
Let me so use it that it may mellow me, not harden nor embitter me.
that it may make me patient, not irritable.
that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow, haughty and over-bearing.
May no one be less good for having come within my influence.
No one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble for having been a fellow-traveler in our journey toward
ETERNAL LIFE.
As I go my rounds from one distraction to another,
let me whisper from time to time, a word of love to Thee.
May my life be lived in the supernatural, full of power for good, and strong in its purpose of sanctity. Amen!
* Love, Peace and Understanding.
* Forgiveness.
