The First Easter, 2009

April 12, 2009 My brother, This is the first Easter Holiday we celebrate without you being with us. We think of the years we celebrated Easter Sunday together. We think of the Palm Sundays when we attended mass in our brand new suits which mother used to prepare for us from the night before. We think of the Easter Sundays that we celebrated all together at your table. These are moments carved in our hearts. They will never be erased. We will miss your warm wishes and heartiest greetings at this time of the year. You were the bond of the family. No one can take your place. Now, you are in Heaven with our beloved ones. We love you all and think of you all. We never imagined that you will leave us so soon. We always thought that you will stay with us more. But God had other plans! This Easter Sunday, we will Reflect, Repent, Rejoice and Remember. Your loving brother, Joseph.
