LAU Dedication Ceremony of a Coference Room

On December 16, 2009 Dr. Joseph G. Jabra headed a ceremony to dedicate a conference room in your name. It was held at 5:00 PM at LAU Byblos Campus, Science biulding. The room is located next to the President's Office. It is the room which you always used to hold the meetings with the other members of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Jabra gave a speech about your life and legacy. Your son, Benny, gave a very touching speech too. After that a plaque bearing your name at the entrance of the Conference Room was unvieled and a tour of the room took place. A painting of you was hanging on one of the conference room walls. The painting was created by the Lebanese painter Zohrab. You were smiling to us all. After the ceremony a cocktail reception took place. The local Annahar newspaper had this article in its issue of December 18, 2009. On December 21, the LAU magazine wrote This article about the cremony in its monthly issue.
